Weekly Report #2


This week was a handful.

I was tasked with programming the prototype for the side-scroller and level management. I had a fairly good idea of what I had to make so I got to work right away. I used a tile palette to design the background, then made it loop by making it jump back to the starting position just before it would completely vanish off the screen. Creating the cow spawner was also entertaining.

Later on I managed to combine my prototype with my colleagues AI and animated the cows a little. Finally, the player controls were added, making this prototype a very good representation of what we want the levels to play and feel like.
